Airtel Launches Family Tunes for Fixed Landline Users

Bharti Airtel has come with very new and unique service- Family tunes for its landline users across the country. Now 2.9 million fixed line users can set their own Family Tune with customized message by their own Family Name.

Airtel Fixed Landline users can now activate this new call management service on their phones. With Airtel Family Tunes service, users can set a pre-recorded welcome message on their individual family name instead of conventional tone. Users can choose from 1000 most common Indian Family Names.
To activate the Family Tune Service users can dial 5432151 from their Airtel Fixed Line. For one time download of Family Tunes users will be charged Rs. 15 and for recurring monthly hello tune, users will be charged Rs. 30 per month.
Announcing this, Mr. Vikas Singh, Chief Marketing Officer–Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel said, “For most homes today in the country, the Fixed Line remains irreplaceable as the family phone, distinct from the personal mobile phones of each member of the family. Having a Welcome Message customized with their own Family Name will help our customers to enhance the calling experience and make the most of their home phone.”
