Bharti Airtel forays into Bangladesh, ready to buy Warid Mobile Operator.

Bharti Airtel will be buying 70% of stake in Bangladesh's Warid Telecom Service Provider which is currently fully owned by Abu Dhabi based group

The Dhabi Group has already got approval from the Bangladesh Government for the sale of Warid stake to Bharti Airtel for which it has got a go ahead.

It is a smart move on the part of Airtel to be acquiring Warid and getting a foothold into the fast growing telecom market of Bangladesh especially with the current competition in the Indian Telecom Market.
