Calls to Airtel Customer Care Number will be Charged Now Onwards for Kolkata & West Bengal
Bharti Airtel has issued a notice for its customers in Kolkata and West Bengal. Now Talking to Airtel customer care numbers is no more for free for Kolkata and West Bengal.
Airtel has announced that calls made to Airtel customer care number 121 for talking to customer care executive will be chargeable from now onwards. However calling to 198 for registering the complaints and dialing *121# will be toll free.
Details of Airtel Charges made for Airtel Customer Care Number:
Dial 198: 198 is a complaint helpline and will be toll free
Dial 121: 121 calls will be toll free. However dialing 121 for talking to customer care agent will be charged at 50 paisa per 3 minutes.
Dial 155223: 155223 is a VAS deactivation number and will be toll free
SMS ‘START’ to 121: To activate VAS is Toll free
SMS ‘STOP’ to 121 or 155223: To deactivate VAS is toll free
Now most of the operators are trying to make calls to helpline numbers chargeable. As the operators are investing huge sum of money on running these call centers, so they want customers to pay for them. Customers will now have to shell out money from their own pockets for talking to customer care executives.
