BSNL Discloses Its Metro Wimax Franchisees in India

BSNL has disclosed its Wimax franchisees in major urban areas. Teracom, Tech Solutions, Adishwar and Ampouls will serve BSNL Wimax service in 16 urban circles.

Teracom will operate in eight circles, which are Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, UP (East), Assam, Jammu & Kashmir and the North East. Tech Solutions will operate BNSL Wimax services in Orissa, UP (West) and Tamil Nadu.
Ampouls in partnership with vendor Alvarion will operate WiMax networks in Chennai, Haryana, West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh. Adishwar will operate in Kolkata only.
