BSNL Launches 3G Mobile & Data Services in Mangalore & Udupi

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. has launched its 3G mobile and data services in Mangalore and Udupi. Now BSNL users in Karnataka can enjoy video calls, high-speed Internet with 3.1Mbps speed and live mobile TV facility at anytime. Users can also get the benefits of BSNL promotional scheme of free video calls and free data usage.

BSNL has launched its 3G services in Mangalore and Udupi including Surathkal, Baikampady,Ullal, and Deralakatte towns. Also BSNL is planning to launch 3G services in 32 cities of Karnataka by the end of April 2010.
Customer can avail BSNL 3G GSM prepaid connection for Rs. 59. Customers can get the benefits of reduced rates for video calls, voice calls and data usage after first recharge.
Users can enjoy BSNL promotional offer for using BSNL 3G service. BSNL offers 50 free video calls and 25 MB free data usage to its users. Thereafter prepaid users with FRC120 can make local voice or video calls at 30 paisa per minute tariff rate. While all STD calls will be charged at 50 paisa per minute rate.
Existing 2G prepaid customers can migrate from 2G to 3G by sending a SMS M3G120 to 53733. Where as 2G postpaid customers can migrate to 3G services by sending SMS M3G25 to 53733.
