STel, the new entrant in Indian Telecom Industry has now started STel GSM service in Himachal Pradesh. STel has started its service with two tariff plans i.e. Pay Per Second Plan and All@50 Paisa per minute plan in Himachal Pradesh.

STel GSM is a joint project of Siva Group and Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco) and has 49% shares of Batelco and 51% shares of Siva Group. STel GSM has come with two tariff plans for its GSM users in Himachal Pradesh.
Details of STel Tariff Plans:
1.) STel Pay Per Second Plan:
Local call rate: 1 paisa per second
STD call rate: 1 paisa per second
2.) Stel All@50 Paisa plan:
Local call rate: 50 paisa per minute
STD call rate: 50 paisa per minute

STel has also introduced Value Added Services like Astrology, Bollywood, Cricket, tips on devotion, Sports, learning English and Examination tips for its users in Himachal Pradesh.
STel GSM is also going to introduce its services in Bihar and Orissa circles very soon. STel GSM also has license for starting its services in Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam circles.
