Idea Reduces Roaming Charges Upto 50% in Mumbai

Idea Cellular has reduced roaming charges for its users. As all telecom service providers are reducing roaming charges, Idea is following suit. Idea users with RC-38, RC-49 and RC54 plans can enjoy roaming calls at 1 paisa per second and 70 paisa per minute tariff rates.

Details of Idea Reduced Roaming Rates:
1.) RC 38: Users with RC 38, can enjoy all local and STD calls at 1 paisa per second tariff rate. Local SMSes will be charged at 60 paisa per SMS and national SMSes will be charged at Rs. 1.2 per SMS. Users can make 100 free local P2P SMS after 3 SMSes of the day.
Users can receive or make local and STD roaming calls at 1 paisa per second tariff rate. Users can send local and STD SMSes to Idea at Rs. 1.5 per SMS and all SMSes to other network will be charged at Rs. 3.45 per SMS. However these plans are not applicable in Maharashtra and Goa.
2.) RC 49: Users with RC 49, can enjoy all local and STD calls at 1 paisa per second tariff rate. Local SMSes will be charged at 60 paisa per SMS and national SMSes will be charged at Rs. 1.2 per SMS. Users can make 100 free local P2P SMS after 3 SMSes of the day.

Users can receive or make local and STD roaming calls at 70 paisa per minute tariff rate. Users can send local and STD SMSes to Idea at Rs. 1.5 per SMS and all SMSes to other network will be charged at Rs. 3.45 per SMS. However these plans are not applicable in Maharashtra and Goa.
