Idea Sponsors Deccan Chargers in IPL-3 Starting in March 2010.
Idea Cellular is going to sponsor IPL champions, Deccan Chargers of Hyderabad. In Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 Cricket Tournament starting from March 2010, Idea Cellular will sponsor Deccan Chargers.

Idea always believes in being a ‘Champion, Elevating and Humane’ brand. As Deccan Chargers is the champion of IPL and Idea believes in champions.
In the IPL3, all 27 players of Team Deccan Chargers, along with the Coach and support staff with carry IDEA logo on the front of their jersey and trousers. While Team Captain Adam Gilchrist, Ace batsmen Andrew Symonds and Rohit Sharma, pace bowler Chaminda Vaas, and several other leading international players such as Ryan Harris, Dwyane Smith, Scott Styris, Kemar Roach and Fidel Edwards will wear Brand IDEA during all their sporting action during the forthcoming T20 championship.
IDEA will also introduces a range of value added services on Voice, SMS and WAP portal for its customers to connect people with Deccan Chargers.
