MTNL Mumbai Reduces Usage Charges for GPRS-4 & GPRS-5 Plans for Prepaid & Postpaid Users

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. has reduced the usage charges for its GPRS-4 plan for postpaid users and GPRS-5 plan for prepaid users in Mumbai. Now users will be charged 5 paisa per KB as usage charges instead of 10 paisa per KB.

Details of MTNL GPRS and MMS Tariff:
A.) For Postpaid Users:-
1.) GPRS- 1:
Activation charges: Nil
Monthly rental: Rs. 90
Free usage: 15 MB
Usage charges: 10 paisa per KB
Free MMSes: 50 MMS
Beyond free MMS, MMS rate: Rs. 2 per MMS
2.) GPRS- 2:
Activation charges: Nil
Monthly rental: Rs. 399
Free usage: Unlimited browsing in home network only
Usage charges: Nil
Free MMSes: 200 MMS
Beyond free MMS, MMS rate: 10 paisa per MMS
3.) GPRS-3:
Activation charges: Nil
Monthly rental: Rs. 49
Free usage: Nil
Usage charges: 10 paisa per KB
MMS rate: Rs. 2 per MMS
4.) GPRS-4:
Activation charges: Nil
Monthly rental: Nil
Free usage: Nil
Usage charges: 5 paisa per KB
MMS rate: Rs. 2 per MMS
B.) For Prepaid Users:-
GPRS-5:

Free usage: Nil
