MTNL Reduces 3G Activation Charges from Rs. 300 to Rs. 149 for Prepaid Users in Mumbai

MTNL has reduced the 3G activation charges for its prepaid users in Mumbai. Now users can avail MTNL 3G services fro Rs. 149 instead of Rs. 300.

Details of MTNL Prepaid Tariffs:
For New Trump Customers: New MTNL customers can get the SIM kit for Rs. 80 with a recharge voucher worth Rs. 29 with 3G enabled and actual tariff plan. Users can choose any of the data plan for data downloading. For internet access, minimum balance of Rs. 25 is required.
For Existing Trump Customers: For existing customers activation charges are reduced from Rs. 300 to Rs. 149. Users can activate the 3G services by sending a SMS ACT 3G to 444.
Users will be charged Rs. 2 per MB with a pulse of 2 paisa per 10 KB.
Default Tariff Plan:
Local/ STD /ISD voice call rate: As per Trump Jeevan Sathi plan
Local and national SMS rate: As per Trump Jeevan Sathi plan
Local video calls to own network, call rate: Rs. 1.80 per minute
Local video calls to other networks: Rs. 3 per minute
STD video call rate: Rs. 3.75 per minute
Incoming video call rate while in roaming: Rs. 1.80 per minute
Local outgoing video call rate while in roaming: Rs. 3 per minute
STD outgoing call rate while in roaming: Rs. 4 per minute
3G data charges: Rs. 2 per MB (Pulse of 2ps/10 KB)
Note: Customers have to maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 25 for data download or internet access.
