Reliance Hikes Tariff by 20 Percent
Reliance communication has hiked the call tariff upto 20 percent for its GSM and CDMA customers.
Reliance and other operators have taken this tariff hiking step due to inflation. Reliance GSM customers have to pay more charged for on net as well as off net calls. While Reliamce CDMA customers have to pay more charges for off net calls.
"We have increased tariffs in most of the circles over last couple of months in a phased manner, from 1 paisa to 1.2 paise per second," said Syed Safawi, the head of RCom''s wireless business.
