Tata GSM service launch in Gujarat circle is postponed till January end. TTSL is going to launch GSM service under Tata Docomo brand.

TTSL Tata is going to launch its GSM service in Gujarat circle. Tata GSM service is expected to be launched in Gujarat on 15 December. But due to the allocation of spectrum, launch is delayed. Now TTSL is expecting to launch GSM service in Gujarat at the end of January 2010.
Naveen Bhasin, chief operating officer, COO of TTL Gujarat said, “The spectrum allocated to us has not been released by government agencies. Hence, we are not able to launch the services in the state. We had earlier planned to launch DOCOMO by December 15. TTL has its share of spectrum, but it has to be cleared by local authorities too and such procedures take time.”
TTSL has its GSM service in most major telecom circle: Andhra Pradesh, Bihar-Jharkhand, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Orissa, Kerala, Kolkata, Mumbai, Maharashtra-Goa and Madhya Pradesh-Chhatisgarh, Punjab, UP East, UP West, and West Bengal. Now everyone is waiting for its launch in Gujarat circle.
