The Amazing Person to Person Green Money Transfer Service by Tata Indicom
Tata has many firsts in its basket. Tata Indicom, the CDMA telecom wing of Tata has announced the unique Green Money Transfer - a uniue person to person money transfer through mobile.
This service has been launched by Tata Indicom in association with Paymate and Corporation Bank. This service is targeted at population without bank accounts or those who need to send money quickly but are not internet savvy!
A typical transaction would consist of the sender visiting the Tata PCO or TVS ( True Value Shop) and handing over cash to the Green Money Transfer Service. The Tata PCO calls an IVR and asks
sender to enter his mPIN to authorize the transaction and gets a Transaction code on his mobile.
The recipient goes to the Tata PCO or TVS in his city.The PCO or TVS puts through an IVR call to the receiver who enters his/her mPIN to verify the transaction. On verification money is given to the receiver.
