Videocon Launches GSM Mobile Service Now in Gujarat

Videocon has launched its GSM mobile service now in Gujarat telecom circle. Videocon has launched the service in 13 cities of Gujarat with exciting tariff plans.

Videocon has coved 13 cities in Gujarat, which are Ahemdabad, Anand, Ankeleshwar, Bardoli, Baroda(Vadodara), Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar, Junagarh, Navsari, Rajkot, Surat, Valsad and Verawal
Videocon has launched its GSM mobile service with two tariff plans in Gujarat. One is for Rs 149 monthly recharge, which offers free local calls for one hour everyday, where as other monthly plan for Rs. 399 offers unlimited free local calls to any network. Where as all other tariff plans are based on per second system for local and STD calls to any network across the country.
Venugopal Dhoot, Videocon Chairman said, "Today, Videocon is starting its services in Gujarat, where the company has earmarked an investment of Rs 1,000 crore for its GSM venture".
He said, "The tremendous value that we will deliver to our users every month will enable us to achieve our target of 100 million users across India within three years".
"In the coming months, we will target to cover 100 per cent of the urban population and 50 per cent of rural population in the state. Our services will be offered from around 20,000 retail outlets at the beginning and plan to cover 45,000 outlets in the next two months," he added.
Videocon is planning to launch some more impressive tariff plans and VAS for its customers very soon.
